Georgia Alliance For Cerebral Palsy

Our mission is to lead the way in caring for and supporting the well-being of individuals with Cerebral Palsy in Georgia, enabling a trajectory of health, productivity, and continuing growth for all Georgians.

The Georgia Alliance for Cerebral Palsy (GA4CP) is a collaboration of physicians, community stakeholders, educators, researchers, patients, and parents with the common goal of transforming the lives of families affected by cerebral palsy in the state of Georgia, USA.

We are working with local and state programs to detect cerebral palsy early and improve care for individuals with CP across their lifespan. Compared to all other childhood disabilities, cerebral palsy results in the greatest burden for families in lost employment and income.

Now, leading physicians, educators, community advocates and researchers from across the state & country have come together - leveraging their resources, connections and partnerships with national organizations to create GA4CP.

The GA4CP mission is develop pathways to support the well-being of individuals and families affected by CP in Georgia. We have aligned our efforts with identified needs from community stakeholders and national surveys to formulate a comprehensive strategic plan.

We will accomplish our goals by connecting our Georgian stakeholders with the healthcare, community programs and educational resources they need for a trajectory of health, productivity, and continued growth. GA4CP is also creating a dynamic, synergistic alliance that will empower current and future educators, therapists, physicians, and researchers through training from universities and international congresses currently collaborating in GA.

The babies, children, and teenagers that GA4CP helps today will be the thriving individuals who work, teach, and live to change the future of all people with disabilities in the State of Georgia of tomorrow.
